    This is the second paper in a series devoted to the theorq of soliton and polaron generation in polyacetykne by both radiative and non-radiative processes. The general formalism presented in the first paper of this series which combines the lattice relaxatipn theory of multiphonon processes with the adiabatic self-consistency condition in terms of the Bogoliubovde Gennei equation and the gap equatibn, is applied in this paper to explicit calculation of the non-radiative decay rate of an electron(ho1e) into a plaron and that of an electron-hole pair into a soliton pair in plyacetylene. A heuristic derivation for the formula of non-radiative decay rate is given to elucidate the physical meaning of the approximation invol-ved in the case of low temperature and strong coupling. The matrix elements between multi-electron states are estimated in the Hartree approximation using the single electron states obtained as solutions of the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equation. The result obtained is compared with the numerical calculations on a discrete model.

    This is the third paper in a series on the Iattice relaxation and the multiphonon processes in polyacetylene. The general formalism developed in the first paper of the present series, which combines the traditional lattice relaxation theory of mltiphnncn processes with the adiabatic self-consistency condition in terms of the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equation and the gap equation, is used in this paper to discuss the radiative process of soliton pair and polaron generation. A general formula is derived for the cross section of the radiative process with the difference in the lattice relaxation accounted for, and an approximate expression for the low-temperature, strong-coupling limit is obtained by the method of steepest descent. A selec tion rule which forbids the direct process of neutial s-s pair photogenera tion is derived from the symmetry considera tion. The frequency dependence of the cross section for the s-s pair photoproduction is compared with the photoconductivity data in trans-(CH)x. The life-time effects of electron and/or hole due to non radiative decay into soliton (polaron) upon the band-to-band and kink-to-band absorption are considered to yield better aqreement with the experiments. The branching ratio of the photojnduced neutral to charged soliton pairs is estimated. A detailed discussion on the symmetry properties of the SSH Hamil tonian is presented in the Appendix.

    In this paper the matrix elements of the nucleon-meson vertexes from one gluon exchange transition potential Vq→qqq are calculated by using the generator coordinate method. We have found that the coup1ing constants of the nucleon-meson vertexes are roughly in agreement with the experimental data and the form factors of the vertexes are quite like the Gauss functions.

    In this paper, a magnetosonic solitary wave in hot plasma is considered both analytically and numerically,taking account of the charge separation. The two-direction one-dimension Maxwell-two-fluid equations are obtained,.It is shown that there.exist solitary wave. solutions of these equations when 1+B02/4πn0Te < (C/CS)2 <2.6, where C is the-wave velocity. The distributions of density and of magnetic intensity both have the shape of single peak. The effect of the magnetic field is to depress the amplitudes and to widen the widths of the solitary waves; and when BO→0 the magnetosonic solitary wave turn to sonic solitary wave. It is found that for large C the charge separation may be remarkable, so the assumption of quasineutrality is incorrect.

    In this paper the method of lattlce gauge theories is applied to the investigation of the effect of coset pure gauge fields of the non-Abelian chiral group on the confinement properties of a system. In particular, the current-current propagator of the coset G/H=SU(2)L×(2)r/SU(2) model is calculated. Then it IS found that the pure gauge fields-on coset space only offer a perimeter law factor which does not change the confinement properties of a physical system.

    A Darbou transformation depending on single continuous parameter t is constructed for a principal chiral field. The transformation forms a nonlinear representation of the group for any fixed value of t. Part of the kernel in the Riemann- Hilbert transform is shown to be-related to the Darboux trans- formation with its generators forming a Kac-Moody algebra. Conserved currents associated with the Kac-Moody algebra of the linearized equations and the Noether current for the group transformations with fixed value of t are obtained.

    It is shown that at high energy all available data for differential and integrated cross sections and Λ-polarisation in the reaction K-p→ηΛ can be fitted by using a simple Regge pole model with phenomenological residue functions. The characteristics of real and imaginary parts of the helicity amplitudes are also examined.

    We exend the coherent state which possesses definite Abel charge to the state possessing definite non-Abel charge, and constrpct SU(3) charged and hypercharged coherent states for both boson and fermion. In this way, the fractionally charged and hypercharged quark states can be obtained naturally. Moreover, this formulation also shows that in order to obtain integrally charged and hypercharged hadroh coherent state, one must introduce color quantum number and discuss the SU (6)⊗SU(3) case.

    It is shown that the prolongation structure theory for nonlinear (evolution) equations with two independent variables can be generalized to the systems with many independent variables. By means of the nonlinear realization theory of gauge symmetries, the fundamental equations for prolongation structures and the requirements for the generalized Lax representations of the nonlinear systems in higher dimensions have been given. Based upon the invariances of the prvlongation structures or the generalized Lax representation under certain transformations, the general condition satisfied by the auto-Backlund transformations has been proposed and searching for a kind of auto-Backlund transformations has been transferred to solving the regular Riemann-Hilbert problem.

    A calculation on the rates and the branching ratios. of two-body decay of proton and neutron is presented in detail in this paper. A relativistic formalism based on the B.S. wave.functions is employed, to consider the bound state; effects of the quarks inside the nucleon automatically and completely. In order to solve the well-known Van Royen-Weisskopf's paradox occurring in nonrelativistic quark models, a B.S. wave function of mesons with a spin structure different from the Bargmann-Wigner's is accepted and as a result changes in the.branching-ratios and the rates are made, e.y. the K0π+ mode becomes the largest among the two-body modes for the proton decay and the rate. for the neutron decay decreases, with the effective interaction induced from. the minimum SU(5) model.

    We continually use the phenomenological of the galaxy with two constituents (v+B) as in a previous paper [1] and uniformly handle S galaxy, E galaxy, etc. through the normalization method. At the same time, we extend this model from degenerate condition to isoentropic condition and from low temperature to high temperature. Thus, on a much more perfect foundation it is indirectly verified that the massive neutrino can account for the missing mass hidden in different celestial scales between galaxy and galactic cluster, but it can not rule out the possibiilty that there are some new massive fermions which are lighter than neutrino. Besides, in this paper we handle 21 samples of Sc galaxy yet, and obtain the average upper limit (15 eV.) of mv. Because the spherically symmetric model is insufficient for calculation of mv, we will progres sively research the non-spherically symmetric model, in another paper.

    There exists a simple scaling function relating the "operational" Hausdorff Dimension D=2/3 at each bifurcation point μk, k finite, to the universal Hausdorff dimension D=0.538… at μ the limiting sets of 1-dimensional unimodal mappings xn+1=f(μ,xn).

    Using the DWIA with eikondl distorted waves and by considering nuclear core excitation, we we calculate the differential cross section of the inelastic scattering for the excitation of the 3/2- (3.68 Mev) and the 5/2- (7.55 Mev) states in 13C at Tπ =180 Mev. Our results agree well with the expetiments data.
