    A generalized Blume-Emery-Criffiths model on the honeycomb lattice is solved exactly in a paiameter subspace. Ising transition critical surfaces are found for this model with a zero and a pure imaginary field respectively. And the mapping onto a triangular spin-1 model is made.

    The Lennard-Jones interaction has been introduced into the Collins mix lattice of 2D liquids. By means of rigoroue calculation of the total potential and the free area, the Gibbs functions for 2D liquid and solid have been derived. The melting line obtained from the phase transition equation agrees quite well with the result of recent computer simulation experiments. The obtained reduced temperature of the triple point Tc* = 0.438 agrees with the data measured in experiments of some inert gas monolayers adsorbed on graphite as well as in computer simulation experiments.

    In this paper the author uses the principle of Maxwell's equal area to study the liquid-vapour phase transition and to discuss the stability of the phase transition.The results obtained are quite analogous in behaviour to those of the Van der Waals' type.

    By using the time displacement operators and rearranging the irreducible kernel, the equal-time equation of the twocomponent complex scalar field is established. From the equations of the matrix elements the equation of the usual two composite bosons is separated and a three-dimensional relativistic equation is obtained. The most important feature is that the ghost states disappear in our equation.

    This paper presents the detailed studies of the focusing of pump beams and the excited electron plasma waves(EPW) in a PBWA(Paema-Beat-Wave-Accelerator) by beating two self-trapped laser beams. The equations governing the saturated amplitude of EPW in nonuniform pump beams have been derived analytically. With these the condition for self-trapping of pump beams has been studied self-consistently. The optimum frequency mismatch parameter and the corresponding optimum initial plasma density as well as the maximum amplitude of the EPW have been obtained analytically. The transverse distributions of the EPW for Gaussian pump profile have been calculated numerically and show peculiar characteristics for certain frequency mismatch parameters. In addition, the effect of the radial component of the EPW on the bunch of accelerated particles in PBWA has been briefly discussed.

    The anomalous electron thermal transport model baaed on collisionleas plasma instabilities driven by electron temperature gradient is applied to tokamak plasma with auxiliary heating. The steady state electron equation is solved and the results ahow good agreement with experimental observations including the principle of profile consltency, various scaling laws, and even some results for detached plasmas.

    Energetic particles can be .generated by electron cyclotron resonant heating (ECRH) in tokamak plasma, forming electron ring. The bounce frequency is taken into account in resonance condition. The electron energy is limited by detaching of the adjacent overlapped islands. An analytical criterion for transition is obtained. The critical potential obtained is in good agreement with numerical calculation. Experiment for observing the trapped energetic electrons is suggested.

    Using the quasiregular model, some characteristics of the phase diagram with a minimum point were studied for a binary system. We obtained the inequalities which must be satisfied by these parametera WS,WL,VS and VL in various models.

    Considering the interaction between the TLS and the fermi electron, phonon in amorphous metals, we calculate the density of state of, the TLS by using Green's function method. The results can explain the anomalous behaviour at low temperature of amorphous metals.

    The potential of Fokker-Planck equations possessing limit cycles is discussed. The one-dimensional set of extreme of the potential is proved to be, generally, structurally stable as the drift ia not of pure gradient. The importance of the circulation for the structure stability is revealed and emphasized.

    An improved discussion on the dynamics of the Freedericksz transition in nematics is proposed. It is pointed out that the relaxation time γ-1 of the directors follows, an a2(a - 1) law in the twist deformation case. The possible chaotic motion of the directors in an external field ia briefly discussed.

    The Gaussian effective potential of the double sine-Gordon mode in 1+1 dimensions is calculated within this approximation, a Coleman phase transition condition is obtained which reduces to the well-known result in sine-Gordon model.

    Using the IWOP (integration within ordered product) technique, we construct a new state vector representation in two-mode Fock space. The tensor product of a kind of squeeze operators can then be well identified in the new representation, which manifestly shows that these squeeze operators are quantum maps imaged by certain symplectic transformation in classical phase space.

    The Riccati type equation, the Biicklund transformation and the Lax pair of the Liouville equation are obtained by using the prolongation theory. It is shown that the prolongation structures generate the SL(2,R) Lie algebra.

    It ia shown that the differential cross section for both K+p and K-p elastic scattering including the most recent measurements for 20 < pL < 200 (GeV/c) and with -t extended upto 28 (GeV/c)2 can be fitted by using the pomeron as dipole and p as a simple pole. The difference of the total cross section for K+p and K-p scattering is also explained.

    Assuming that planets were formed in the equatorial plane of the Sun and that there was a small perturbation at the start, it is shown that relativistic effects could lead to the planetary orbit tilting observed. On the baais of this analysis, a prediction is made for the velocity of the planet Mercury out of its orbital 'plane'. This prediction is a lower limit. Further, this explanation may possibly provide a method for determining the solar angular momentum.
