The consistent tanh expansion (CTE) method is applied to the (2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq equation which describes the propagation of ultrashort pulse in quadratic nonlinear medium. The interaction solutions are explicitly given, such as the bright soliton-periodic wave interaction solution, variational amplitude periodic wave solution, and kink-periodic wave interaction solution. We also obtain the bright soliton solution, kind bright soliton solution, double well dark soliton solution and kink-bright soliton interaction solution by using Painlevé truncated expansion method. And we investigate interactive properties of solitons and periodic waves.

Exact solutions of the atmospheric (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear incompressible non-hydrostatic Boussinesq (INHB) equations are researched by Combining function expansion and symmetry method. By function expansion, several expansion coefficient equations are derived. Symmetries and similarity solutions are researched in order to obtain exact solutions of the INHB equations. Three types of symmetry reduction equations and similarity solutions for the expansion coefficient equations are proposed. Non-traveling wave solutions for the INHB equations are obtained by symmetries of the expansion coefficient equations. Making traveling wave transformations on expansion coefficient equations, we demonstrate some traveling wave solutions of the INHB equations. The evolutions on the wind velocities, temperature perturbation and pressure perturbation are demonstrated by figures, which demonstrate the periodic evolutions with time and space.

This article amis at revealing dynamical behavior of a coupled Camassa-Holm type equation, which was proposed by Geng and Wang based on a 4×4 matrix spectral problem with two potentials. Its kink and anti-kink solutions are presented explicitly. In particular, some exact multi-kink and anti-kink wave solutions are discussed and under some conditions, the kink and anti-kinks look like hat-shape solitons. The dynamic characters of the obtained solutions are investigated by figures. The method used in this paper can be widely applied to looking for the multi-kinks for Camassa-Holm type equations possessing cubic nonlinearity.

A generalized scheme for the construction of coherent states in the context of position-dependent effective mass systems has been presented. This formalism is based on the ladder operators and associated algebra of the system which are obtained using the concepts of supersymmetric quantum mechanics and the property of shape invariance. In order to exemplify the general results and to analyze the properties of the coherent states, several examples have been considered.

A protocol for quantum private comparison of equality (QPCE) is proposed based on five-particle cluster state with the help of a semi-honest third party (TP). In our protocol, TP is allowed to misbehave on its own but can not conspire with either of two parties. Compared with most two-user QPCE protocols, our protocol not only can compare two groups of private information (each group has two users) in one execution, but also compare just two private information. Compared with the multi-user QPCE protocol proposed, our protocol is safer with more reasonable assumptions of TP. The qubit efficiency is computed and analyzed. Our protocol can also be generalized to the case of 2N participants with one TP. The 2N-participant protocol can compare two groups (each group has N private information) in one execution or just N private information.

We analytically investigate Multiple Quantum (MQ) NMR dynamics in a mixed-three-spin (1/2,1,1/2) system with XXX Heisenberg model at the front of an external homogeneous magnetic field B. A single-ion anisotropy property ζ is considered for the spin-1. The intensities dependence of MQ NMR coherences on their orders (zeroth and second orders) for two pairs of spins (1,1/2) and (1/2,1/2) of the favorite tripartite system are obtained. It is also investigated dynamics of the pairwise quantum entanglement for the bipartite (sub)systems (1,1/2) and (1/2,1/2) permanently coupled by, respectively, coupling constants J1 and J2, by means of concurrence and fidelity. Then, some straightforward comparisons are done between these quantities and the intensities of MQ NMR coherences and ultimately some interesting results are reported. We also show that the time evolution of MQ coherences based on the reduced density matrix of the pair spins (1,1/2) is closely connected with the dynamics of the pairwise entanglement. Finally, we prove that one can introduce MQ coherence of the zeroth order corresponds to the pair spins (1,1/2) as an entanglement witness at some special time intervals.

We explore the tricritical points and the critical lines of both Blume-Emery-Griffiths and Ising model within long-range interactions in the microcanonical ensemble. For K=KMTP, the tricritical exponents take the values β=1/4, 1=γ-≠γ+=1/2 and 0=α-≠α+=-1/2, which disagree with classical (mean field) values. When K>KMTP, the phase transition becomes second order and the critical exponents have classical values except close to the canonical tricritical parameters (KCTP), where the values of the critical expoents become β=1/2, 1=γ-≠γ+=2 and 0=α+≠α+=1.

All the possible CP-conserving non-linear operators up to the p4-order in the Lagrangian expansion are analysed here for the left-right symmetric model in the non-linear electroweak chiral context coupled to a light dynamical Higgs. The low energy effects will be triggered by an emerging new physics field content in the nature, more specifically, from spin-1 resonances sourced by the straightforward extension of the SM local gauge symmetry to the larger local group SU(2)L×SU(2)R×U(1)B-L. Low energy phenomenology will be altered by integrating out the resonances from the physical spectrum, being manifested through induced corrections onto the left handed operators. Such modifications are weighted by powers of the scales ratio implied by the symmetries of the model and will determine the size of the effective operator basis to be used. The recently observed diboson excess around the invariant mass 1.8 TeV-2 TeV entails a scale suppression that suggests to encode the low energy effects via a much smaller set of effective operators.

We present an analysis of the xF3(x,Q2) structure function and Gross-Llewellyn Smith(GLS) sum rule taking into account the nuclear effects and higher twist correction. This analysis is based on the results presented in[N.M. Nath, et al., Indian J. Phys. 90 (2016) 117]. The corrections due to nuclear effects predicted in several earlier analysis are incorporated to our results of xF3(x,Q2) structure function and GLS sum rule for free nucleon, corrected upto next-next-to-leading order (NNLO) perturbative order and calculate the nuclear structure function as well as sum rule for nuclei. In addition, by means of a simple model we have extracted the higher twist contributions to the non-singlet structure function xF3(x,Q2) and GLS sum rule in NNLO perturbative orders and then incorporated them to our results. Our NNLO results along with nuclear effect and higher twist corrections are observed to be compatible with corresponding experimental data and other phenomenological analysis.

In this article, we assign the higher charm mesons D1*(2680), D3*(2760) and D2*(3000) to be the 2S 1-, 1D 3- and 1F 2+ states, respectively, and study the two-body strong decays to the ground state charm mesons and light pseudoscalar mesons with the heavy meson effective theory. We obtain the ratios among the strong decays, which can be confronted to the experimental data in the future and shed light on the nature of those higher charm mesons.

We report on a theoretical study of the π-pa1-(1260) p and π-pπ-ρ0p reactions near threshold within an effective Lagrangian approach. The production process is described by t-channel ρ0 meson exchange. For the π-pπ-ρ0p reaction, the final π-ρ0 results from the decay of the a1(1260) resonance, which is assumed as a dynamically generated state from the K*K and ρπ coupled channel interactions. We calculate the total cross section of the π-pa1-(1260)p reaction. It is shown that, with the coupling constant of the a1(1260) to ρπ channel obtained from the chiral unitary theory and a cut off parameter Λρ~1.5 GeV in the form factors, the experimental measurement can be reproduced. Furthermore, the total and differential cross sections of π-pa1-(1260)pπ-ρ0p reaction are evaluated, and it is expected that our model calculations can be tested by future experiments. These reactions are important for the study of the a1(1260) resonance and would provide further constraints on the properties of the a1(1260) state.

We calculate the large mass dileptons production from the jet-dilepton conversion in spherical expanding quark-gluon plasma at Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) and Large Hadron Collider (LHC) energies. The jet-dilepton production exceeds the thermal and Drell-Yan dilepton production in the large mass region of 4.5 GeV< M< 5.5 GeV and 7 GeV< M< 9 GeV in central Pb+Pb collisions at √sNN=2.76 TeV and 5.5 TeV, respectively. We present the solution of (1+3)-dimensional fluid hydrodynamics with spherical symmetry. We find that the transverse flow of the QGP leads to a rapid cooling of the fire ball and suppression of the jet-dilepton conversion. The suppression is also evident at intermediate and large mass at LHC energies. The energy loss of the jet-dilepton conversion is concerned.

The present study explores the free convective oblique Casson fluid over a stretching surface with non-linear thermal radiation effects. The governing physical problem is modelled and transformed into a set of coupled non-linear ordinary differential equations by suitable similarity transformation, which are solved numerically with the help of shooting method keeping the convergence control of 10-5 in computations. Influence of pertinent physical parameters on normal, tangential velocity profiles and temperature are expressed through graphs. Physical quantities of interest such as skin friction coefficients and local heat flux are investigated numerically.

The approximate analytical solution of velocity is presented for incompressible and viscous fluid driven by the oscillation of the periodic pressure, between two slit parallel plates with corrugated walls by employing perturbation method. The corrugations of the two walls are described as periodic sinusoidal waves with small amplitude either in phase or half-period out of phase. Based on the analysis, we discuss the influence of the dimensionless parameters on velocity u± and mean velocity parameter φ± numerically, such as Reynolds number Re, nondimensional amplitude A of pressure gradient and wave number k.

The main purpose of this article is to present a mathematical model of ciliary motion in an annulus. In this analysis, the peristaltic motion of non-Newtonian Jeffrey six constant fluid is observed in an annulus with ciliated tips in the presence of heat and mass transfer. The effects of viscous dissipation are also considered. The flow equations of non-Newtonian fluid for the two-dimensional tube in cylindrical coordinates are simplified using the low Reynolds number and long wave-length approximations. The main equations for Jeffrey six constant fluid are considered in cylindrical coordinates system. The resulting nonlinear problem is solved using the regular perturbation technique in terms of a variant of small dimensionless parameter α. The results of the solutions for velocity, temperature and concentration field are presented graphically. Bk is Brinkman number, ST is soret number, and SH is the Schmidth number. Outcome for the longitudinal velocity, pressure rise, pressure gradient and stream lines are represented through graphs. In the history, the viscous-dissipation effect is usually represented by the Brinkman number.

The mechanism of the Weibel instability is investigated for dense magnetized plasmas. As we know, due to the electron velocity distribution, the Coulomb collision effect of electron-ion and the relativistic properties play an important role in such study. In this study an analytical expression for the growth rate and the condition of restricting the Weibel instability are derived for low-frequency limit. These calculations are done for the oscillation frequency dependence on the electron cyclotron frequency. It is shown that, the relativistic properties of the particle lead to increasing the growth rate of the instability. On the other hand the collision effects and background magnetic field try to decrease the growth rate by decreasing the temperature anisotropy and restricting the particles movement.
