THE WAVE FRONT SOLUTIONS OF A REACTION-DIFFUSION SYSTEM WITH NONLINEAR DIFFUSING TERM

Abstract

The wave front solutions of a Fisher-like equation with highly nonlinear diffusion is studied. The linear stability of the waves is investigated by employing Galerkin Procedure. The global stability. problem is also investigated by numerical simulations. The results demonstrate that the waves possess some special characteristic features, which are different from those of semiLinear Fisher equation.
