    The Yang-Baxter equation is reinvestigated in the framework of triple system. By requiring the rational R matrix of the Yang-Baxter equation satisfying the generalized Filippov condition, we derive a relation with respect to the rational R matrix. Moreover the case of the super Yang-Baxter equation is also investigated.

    In the paper, Ablowitz-Ladik hierarchy with new self-consistent sources is investigated. First the source in the hierarchy is described as φnφn+1, where φn is related to the Ablowitz-Ladik spectral problem, instead of the corresponding adjoint spectral problem. Then by means of the inverse scattering transform, the multi-soliton solutions for the hierarchy are obtained. Two reductions to the discrete mKdV and nonlinear Schrödinger hierarchies with self-consistent sources are considered by using the uniqueness of the Jost functions, as well as their N-soliton solutions.

    We propose a scheme to generate maximally entangled states of two distant Bose-Einstein condensates, which are trapped in different potential wells of a one-dimensional optical lattice. We show how such maximally entangled state can be used to test the Bell inequality and realize quantum teleportation of a Bose-Einstein condensate state. The scheme proposed here is based on the interference of Bose-Einstein condensates leaking out from different potential wells of optical lattice. It is briefly pointed out that this scheme can be extended to generate maximally entangled Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states of 2m (m >1) distant Bose-Einstein condensates.

    In this paper, based on a Riemann theta function and Hirota's bilinear form, a straightforward way is presented to explicitly construct Riemann theta functions periodic waves solutions of the isospectral BKP equation. Once the bilinear form of an equation obtained, its periodic wave solutions can be directly obtained by means of an unified theta function formula and the way of obtaining the bilinear form is given in this paper. Based on this, the Riemann theta function periodic wave solutions and soliton solutions are presented. The relations between the periodic wave solutions and soliton solutions are strictly established and asymptotic behaviors of the Riemann theta function periodic waves are analyzed by a limiting procedure. The N-soliton solutions of isospectral BKP equation are presented with its detailed proof.

    In this paper, we investigate a (3+1)-dimensional generalized variable-coefficient Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation, which can describe the nonlinear phenomena in fluids or plasmas. Painlevé analysis is performed for us to study the integrability, and we find that the equation is not completely integrable. By virtue of the binary Bell polynomials, bilinear form and soliton solutions are obtained, and Bäcklund transformation in the binary-Bell-polynomial form and bilinear form are derived. Soliton collisions are graphically discussed: the solitons keep their original shapes unchanged after the collision except for the phase shifts. Variable coefficients are seen to affect the motion of solitons: when the variable coefficients are chosen as the constants, solitons keep their directions unchanged during the collision; with the variable coefficients as the functions of the temporal coordinate, the one soliton changes its direction.

    After constructing the Bethe state of the XXZ Gaudin model with generic non-diagonal boundary terms, we analyze the properties of this state and obtain the determinant representations of the scalar products for this XXZ Gaudin model.

    In this paper, we study the cosmological evolution of the universe filled with the perfect fluid in the Eddington-inspired Born-Infeld gravity, proposed recently by Banados and Ferreira. Applying a method in which the evolution of the scale factor is regarded as that of a particle moving in a potential, we show all possible cases of cosmological evolution.

    A model containing two two-level atoms and a single-mode cavity is considered, and the effect of the time-dependent atom-field couplings on entanglement between the two atoms is studied. The results indicate that both for one-photon processes and for two-photon processes, the disappearance of the initial entanglement is delayed due to the linear modulation of the atom-field coupling coefficients as compared to the constant coupling model. The delayed time of the disappearance of the initial entanglement for the two-photon processes is much longer than that for the one-photon processes in the case of adiabatic variation.

    Following the fractional cable equation established in the letter [B.I. Henry, T.A.M. Langlands, and S.L. Wearne, Phys. Rev. Lett. 100 (2008) 128103], we present the time-space fractional cable equation which describes the anomalous transport of electrodiffusion in nerve cells. The derivation is based on the generalized fractional Ohm's law; and the temporal memory effects and spatial-nonlocality are involved in the time-space fractional model. With the help of integral transform method we derive the analytical solutions expressed by the Green's function; the corresponding fractional moments are calculated; and their asymptotic behaviors are discussed. In addition, the explicit solutions of the considered model with two different external current injections are also presented.

    In this paper, we study the static dielectric function and interaction potential in strong coupling limit with AdS/CFT correspondence. The dielectric function is depressed compared with that in weak coupling. The interaction potential then presents a weaker screening characteristics in strong coupling, which indicates a smaller Debye mass compared with weak coupling.

    The production of the three normal neutrinos via e-e+ collision at Z-boson peak (neutrino production in a Z-factory) is investigated thoroughly. The differences of ve-pair production from vμ-pair and vτ-pair production are presented in various aspects. Namely the total cross sections, relevant differential cross sections and the forward-backward asymmetry etc. for these neutrinos are presented in terms of figures as well as numerical tables. The restriction on the room for the mixing of the three species of light neutrinos with possible externals (heavy neutral leptons and/or sterile neutrinos) from refined measurements of the invisible width of Z-boson is discussed.

    We investigate the one-loop contributions to the mass of the SM-like Higgs boson in the MSSM considering the effect of slepton flavor mixing, which is parametrized by the dimensionless parameter δXY (X,Y=L,R) in the slepton mass matrices. For the surviving samples under the experimental constraints, we calculate the corrections to the mass of the SM-like Higgs boson in terms of δXY. We find that the mass correction Δmh can even be larger than 10 GeV for large δRL or δLR. Moreover, Δmh has strong sensitivity to δRL or δLR, while the weak sensitivity to δLL or δRR, since δRL or δLR enters directly into the coupling of Higgs boson with sleptons in the calculations of Higgs boson self-energies.

    In this paper, we have studied electronic properties of a two-electron quantum dot using Tietz confining potential in the presence of an external magnetic field. In this regard, we have applied diagonalization procedure of Hamilonian matrix. We have calculated singlet-triplet ground state transitions as a function of the magnetic field. The obtained results show that the dot size of the Tietz potential has an important role in the ground state transition. The singlet-triplet transition of the ground state shifts towards lower magnetic field when the quantum size increases. Our results yield much less transitions than that of previous results [R.G. Nazmitdinov, N.S. Simonovic, and M.J. Rost, Phys. Rev. B 65 (2002) 155307].

    The thermal and electrical transport properties of an ideal anyon gas within fractional exclusion statistics are studied. By solving the Boltzmann equation with the relaxation-time approximation, the analytical expressions for the thermal and electrical conductivities of a three-dimensional ideal anyon gas are given. The low-temperature expressions for the two conductivities are obtained by using the Sommerfeld expansion. It is found that the Wiedemann-Franz law should be modified by the higher-order temperature terms, which depend on the statistical parameter g for a charged anyon gas. Neglecting the higher-order terms of temperature, the Wiedemann-Franz law is respected, which gives the Lorenz number. The Lorenz number is a function of the statistical parameter g.

    Temperature effect on the spin pump in a single quantum dot (QD) connected to Normal (NM) and/or Ferromagnetic (FM) leads is investigated with the help of master equation method. Results show that the magnitude and the direction of the temperature difference between the source (L) and drain (R) leads have great impact on the spin current processes. In practical devices, the thermal bias is quite general and then our results may be useful in quantum information processing and spintronics.

    The existence and properties of intrinsic localized spin-wave modes in a ferromagnetic XXZ spin chain with Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction are investigated analytically in the semiclassical limit. The model Hamiltonian is quantized by introducing the Dyson-Maleev transformation and the coherent state representation is chosen as the basic representation of the system. By making use of the method of multiple scales combined with a quasidiscreteness approximation, the equation of motion for the coherent-state amplitude is reduced to the nonlinear Schrödinger equation. It is shown that a bright intrinsic localized spin-wave mode whose eigenfrequency lies below the bottom of the magnon frequency band can exist in the ferromagnetic system. We also show that the system can produce a dark intrinsic localized spin-wave mode, i.e., nonpropagating kink, whose eigenfrequency is below the upper of the magnon frequency band. In addition, we find that the introduction of the Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction changes wave numbers in the Brillouin-zone corresponding to the appearance of intrinsic localized spin-wave modes.

    We investigate the unified first law and the generalized second law in a modified holographic dark energy model. The thermodynamical analysis on the apparent horizon can work and the corresponding entropy formula is extracted from the systematic algorithm. The entropy correction term depends on the extra-dimension number of the brane as expected, but the interplay between the correction term and the extra dimensions is more complicated. With the unified first law of thermodynamics well-founded, the generalized second law of thermodynamics is discussed and it is found that the second law can be violated in certain circumstances. Particularly, if the number of the extra dimensions is larger than one, the generalized law of thermodynamics is always satisfied; otherwise, the validity of the second law can only be guaranteed with the Hubble radius greatly smaller than the crossover scale rc of the 5-dimensional DGP model.

    We constrain the neutrino mass in f(R) gravity using the latest observations from the Planck, BAO and BICEP2 data. We find that the measurement on the B-modes can break the degeneracy between the massive neutrinos and the f(R) gravity. We find a non-zero value of the Compton wavelengths B0 at a 68% confidence level for the f(R) model in the presence of massive neutrinos when the BICEP2 data is used. Furthermore, the tension on the tensor-to-scalar ratios between the measured values from Plank and BICEP2 is significantly reconciled in our model.
